Misusing or overusing antibiotics in livestock and poultry can result the accumulation of mentioned drugs animal meat. Consequently, its consumption by humans therefore increasing risks antibiotic resistance emergences. In order to decrease these risks, constant monitoring meat samples is necessary. Therefore, concentration needs be lower than maximum residue limits. As a complex matrix, sample preparation mandatory step analysis. Molecularly imprinted polymers are one extensively studied tools this aspect. These exhibited great affinity selectivity towards target compound/s. work, collection studies from 2017 2021 reviewed.
